Bryce Canon is an incredible National Park located in Utah. While traveling there in April of 2010, I was fortunate enough to capture many beautiful locations throughout the park. The photo below was taken on 120mm film using a Fuji GX680.

It is difficult to describe the park to someone who hasn’t had the chance to visit. Hopefully my photos help to show just how spectacular everything is at Bryce Canon.

Bryce Canyon is not technically a canyon, as the formations are not created by current / past water flows. Instead, the many varieties of rock formations are formed by seasonal freezing and thawing.

This shot was taken with a Nikon D300 and a 24mm PC-E lens. These lenses are incredibly sharp; on the full size version of this image (6,762 x 4,488) the trunks of the trees on the horizon just to the right of the arch are distinguishable from the background.

On the D300, this is 36mm lens. This shot is a combination of a stitch and a shift … stitching for the left / right half, but shifting for the top / bottom.
